TOP 15 THINGS TO DO WITH BROKEN REEDS
1. Put them back in the box and sell them to middle-school clarinetists at double retail value.2. Use them as paint mixers.
3 Wall-paper your room.
4. Throw them at random brass players and watch them squirm!!
5. Collect them. Record the date and time when each one broke. Get a famous clarinetist to sign the oldest when he gives a concert in your town.
6. Break them into thousands of little pieces. Count them. (Especially effective as a stress releaser)
7. Build a coffin out of reeds, for your reeds. Bury it. Have a ceremony. During band class.
8. Stuff a brass player's locker
9. Build a reed fort, complete with cannon to fire reeds at teachers (not the band teacher of course)
10. Draw faces on them to make a new group of friends
11. Give them to drummers as chew toys
12. Leave them randomly around the band room floor
13. Play tiddlywinks with them, use tuba bell as target.
14. Use them as shavings at the bottom of a hamster or bird cage.
15. Make a tiny boat/life raft for rescuing lady bugs.
